The admission criteria for the enrollment of any off the Diploma courses in the School of Business and Economics is a minimum of Mean Grade of C- (Minus) or a Mean Grade of D+ (Plus) or equivalent with a credit pass in any relevant certificate course. The tuition fee for any of the diploma courses is Ksh 18,000 for semester one and semester two.

Kirinyaga University College also offer certificate courses for the students who are interested in the certificate courses offered in the various fields. They include Certificate in Business Management, Entrepreneurship, Human Resource Management and a certificate in Public Relation. The certificate courses are offered in full time or in the evening and weekend basis. The minimum qualification for the certificate courses are a Mean grade of D+ (Plus) at KCSE and tuition fee of Ksh 23,763 which is payable once till the completion of the certificate course.

The approximate distance from the city of Nairobi to Meru Town in Kenya is 250 km. The most convenient mode of transport to Meru Town in Kenya from Nairobi is by Traveling by bus or commonly referred to as ‘matatus’.
