Established in 1996 Chartered in 2011 by the commission of higher education, Mount Kenya University, is a university in Kenya that offers a bachelor of degree in medical laboratory sciences. Admission criteria
- Individuals who are interested are however required to meet certain criteria in order to pursue medical laboratory science as a career, they include;
- Holder of KCSE certificate, minimum aggregate c+ and either a b in biology or chemistry
- C- in mathematics or physics or B- in biological sciences or B- in physical sciences
- Holder of higher national diploma or professional certificate in a relevant discipline from recognized institution
- A minimum aggregate grade of C+ in KCSE with a minimum of C+ in mathematics /physics, English, biology and chemistry.
- A minimum of a C grade in KCSE coupled with a diploma in medical laboratory sciences from a recognized institution
