Uber, Bolt and Faras tell MPs: no minimum fare, lift the 18% fee cap
Uber, Bolt and Faras told the National Assembly ICT committee that a statutory minimum fare would cut trips and driver pay. They want the 18% service-fee ceiling dropped (they cite a 25% global average) and licences lasting three to five years. Chair John Kiarie said MPs will weigh consumer, driver and innovation tests.
Senate: 60 days for DCI, EPRA and KPC to close the fuel-data cases
