What the job is supposed to deliver
Nairobi’s rivers will not clean themselves. Commissioners need enforcement teeth, county cooperation, and budgets that match rhetoric. Residents living along Ngong, Nairobi and Mathare river corridors care less about the politics of appointment than about sewage, waste and flood risk.
Revocations and replacements only matter if work plans, timelines and public dashboards follow.
