Catholic University of Eastern Africa is a private university in kenya which was started as graduate school of theology, the institute was known as Catholic Higher Institute of Eastern Africa (CHIEA). The authority which begun the school was called Association Member of Episcopal Conferences of Eastern Africa (AMECEA). The member countries of AMECEA are Ethiopia, Eritrea, Sudan, Kenya, Zambia, Malawi, Tanzania and Uganda.

Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences (Sociology), this course equips the student with insights on the organization of the society and its changes, requirements are grade of C+ and a minimum grade of C+ in English or Diploma of social work from a recognized institution.

There is a 2 year program for those Certified in ACCA, CPS, CIPS, CPA, CIM, CIMA and ACII.
Doctorate PHD in Mathematics, the candidate must possess a related degree with a qualification of Second class Honors Upper division and a masters degree.
