All colleges or institutions that offer or want to offer Diploma in Pharmacy in Kenya must be approved by Kenya pharmacy and poisons board. This is the only board that is recognized by the constitution of Kenya to accredit institutions that offer Diploma in Pharmacy in Kenya.

Diploma in Pharmacy takes duration of three years. If you want to apply for this course, then, it is better to know the institutions that are accredited in Kenya before enrolling for the course because you might fall in an institution that is not registered by the Kenya pharmacy and poison board. Therefore, the following are the recognized institutions in Kenya:

Kenya medical training colleges (KMTC) – there are various KMTC colleges in Kenya and those that offer pharmacy are recognized. KMTC are public institutions.
Outspan medical college – this is a private college that is located in Nyeri town.
Nyanchwa Adventist College – this is a mission institution located in Kisii town.
Gusii technical training institute – this is a public technical institute located Kisii town.
Equator school of health sciences – this is a private college located in Nairobi.
Thika technical training institute – it is a public institution located in Thika town.
Africa institute of research and development studies (AIRADS) – it is a private college located in Eldoret town.
Tracom College – this is a private college located in Nakuru town.
Nyeri technical training institute – it is a public institution located in Nyeri town.
Kabete technical training institute – it is a public institution located in Nairobi city.
Mombasa technical training institute – it is a public institute located in Mombasa.
Royal college of science and technology (Ruiru) – it is private
