 Kitengela Medical Services is group of leading comprehensive private health care facilities providing general outpatient, inpatient and specialist services in the Kajiado region. The hospital has a bed capacity of over 70. It is comprised of the main hospital located in Kitengela town off the EPZ road and satellite facilities dedicated to give clients in the region access to quality health care. The staff constitutes a wide range of technical staff committed to provision of safe, effective, timely and efficient care for the benefit of the local community.

Services offered include

  • 24-hour out-patient which involve diagnostic,curative and preventive treatment as well as emergy care and referrals supported fully by functional laboratory services,diagnostic imaging(ultrasound,Xray),dental,physiotherapy and optical services.

    General clinics

  • Child welfare clinic twice a week(Wednesday and Saturday)

  • Antenatal and family planning daily

  • Comprehensive care clinic(CCC) for HIV positive patients weekly

  • Tuberculosis Clinic weekly

  • Medical out-patient clinic for conditions such as Hypertension and diabetes

  • Physiotherapy-Kenya Medical Sciences offers variety of rehabilitative interventions to maintain and restore body movements and function following effects of aging,injury,disease or environment factors therefore improving quality of life

  • In-patient services-General female,male and Child friendly paediatric wards,Maternity and Delivery rooms fully equipped for newborn resuscitation,incubator for premature neonates and phototherapy services

  • Laboratory services-The Kitengela Medical laboratories are well equipped to offer wide range of clinical investigations .

  • Pharmacy-The Kitengela Medical Services has duly well stocked pharmacy with variety of drugs that serves in-patients,out-patients as well as providing over-the-counter(OTC) medication.

  • Imaging department- Radiography(X-Ray)and ultra-sound machines are available to aid clinical management.The services include plain radiography,contrast studies such as Barium studies and HSG.

  • Ambulance services are available in case of emergency,transfers and referral patient transport services.

  • Occupational medical services-The facility has a designated health practioners approved by the Doctorate of Occupational safety and health services licenced to perform occupational examinations on employees as provided for in the Occupational Safety and Health Act.
