Bachelor of Economics

The Technical University of Kenya offers Bachelor of Economics to individuals who have obtained at least a KCSE mean grade of C+ with C+ in English/Kiswahili, Group III/Maths, Group III, and Group II/IV/V subjects. The course takes place in 10 semesters. Student will pay a tuition fee of Ksh 60,000 per semester.

Bachelor in International Relations and Diplomacy

Individuals who wish to pursue Bachelor in International Relations and Diplomacy should have obtained a minimum of KCSE mean grade of C+ with C+ in English/Kiswahili, Group III/Maths, Group III, and Group II/IV/V subjects. Students will be required to learn for a period of 10 semesters and pay Ksh 60,000 per semester tuition fee.

Bachelor of Science Counseling Psychology

Applicants for the Bachelor of Science Psychology should have obtained at least a C+ in KCSE with C+ in English/Kiswahili, Group III/Maths, Group III, and Group II/IV/V subjects. Students are required to pay a tuition fee of KSh 60,000 per semester for the 10 semesters.

Bachelor of Technology in Counseling Psychology

Individuals wishing to undertake Bachelor of Technology in Counseling Psychology should have obtained a Diploma in Counseling Psychology. Those with a Diploma in Guidance or a higher Diploma in Counseling Psychology can also apply. Individuals who have obtained a higher diploma in guidance counseling or an equivalent qualification are welcome to apply. The course spans a 5 semester period with each semester costing Ksh 60,000.

Apart from the Bachelor courses offered at The Technical University of Kenya School of Social and Development Studies, individuals can also undertake diploma courses.

Diploma in Legal Studies

Individuals who want to pursue Diploma in Legal studies should have obtained at least a KCSE mean grade of C- with a D (plain) in English/Kiswahili, History and a Science Certificate in Criminology, Criminal Investigations, Disaster Management, Criminal Justice or Crime Prevention or an equivalent qualification. The course covers 7 semesters with each costing Ksh 36,000.

Diploma in Counseling Psychology

Individuals who want to apply for Diploma in Counseling Psychology should have obtained a minimum of KCSE mean grade of C- or a TUK Certificate or an equivalent qualification. The course takes place in 7 semesters each Ksh 36,000.

Diploma in International Relations

Individuals applying for diploma in International Relations should meet the following requirements. The individuals should have obtained at least a KCSE mean grade of C- with a C in English and a cluster subject. The course takes place in 7 semesters each Ksh 36,000.

Certificate in Disaster Management

The Technical University of Kenya offers a Certificate Course in Disaster Management. Individuals wishing to pursue the course should have obtained a minimum of KCSE mean grade of D+ with at least D (plain) in English and Mathematics. The course covers 3 semesters and costs Ksh 24,000 per semester.
