He Technical University of Kenya offers several courses under the faculty of Engineering Science and Technology. Its School of Architecture and The Built Environment offers the following courses:

Bachelor of Philosophy in Technology

Individuals who want to undertake Bachelor of Philosophy in Technology (Construction Management) should have acquired a higher Diploma in Construction KNEC or an equivalent qualification with at least two years work experience. The course spans a period of 4 semesters with each semester costing Ksh 90,000 in tuition fee.

Bachelor of Built Environment

The Bachelor of Built Environment (Real Estate and Property Management) course takes place over a 6 semester period and it costs Ksh 90,000 per semester. Individuals who want to study to the course are expected to have acquired a Diploma in Real Estate and Property Management or an equivalent qualification.

Bachelor of Built Environment (Urban and Regional Planning)

Individuals who want to apply for the Bachelor of Built Environment (Urban and Regional Planning) course should have obtained a diploma in Urban and Regional Planning. Those with an equivalent qualification are also eligible to undertake the course. The course takes 6 semesters and students are expected to pay Ksh 90,000 per semester.

Bachelor of Technology (Architecture)

The Bachelor of Technology (Architecture) course covers a 6 semester period with each semester costing Ksh 90,000. Individuals should have obtained a Diploma in Technology (Architecture) to apply for the course. Those with an equivalent qualification and who have at least two years relevant work experience are also welcome to apply.

Apart from offering Bachelor courses, the Technical University of Kenya offers Diploma courses under the School of Architecture and The Built Environment.

Diploma in Technology (Building Construction)

The Technical University of Kenya offers Diploma in Technology (Building construction) for those who have obtained a minimum of KCSE mean grade of C- with at least C- in English, Geography, Maths, Physical Science, Physics or CTI. The course takes place in 8 semesters and it costs Ksh 36,000 per semester.

Diploma in Technology (Architecture)

Individuals wishing to study Diploma in Technology (Architecture) should have obtained at least a KCSE mean grade of C- with a minimum of C- in Mathematics, Physics/Physical Science, Group III and 2nd Group III or Group IV/V. Those with a certificate in Architectural Draughtmanship and who have at least one year of relevant work experience are also eligible to apply. The course costs Ksh 36,000 per semester and runs for 8 semesters.

Diploma in Technology (Quantity Surveying)

Individuals wishing to study Diploma in Technology (Quantity Surveying) should have obtained at least a KCSE mean grade of C- with a minimum of C- in Mathematics, Physics/Physical Science, Group III and 2nd Group III or Group IV/V. The course is 8 semesters and students will pay Ksh 36,000 per semester.

Diploma in Technology (Real Estate and Property Management)

Individuals wishing to study Diploma in Technology (Real Estate and Property Management) should have obtained at least a KCSE mean grade of C- with a minimum of C- in Mathematics, Physics/Physical Science, Group III and 2nd Group III or Group IV/V. The course is 8 semesters and students will pay Ksh 36,000 per semester.
