Kenya is a country of extreme dramatics and classic contracts, deserts and the alpine snows, forests and open plains, fresh water lakes and coral reefs and salty lakes. For decades ago, wildlife safaris have been the major tourists’ attraction sites in Kenya while other sites include Malindi, Masai Mara and trekking Mount Kenya.
NAIROBI NATIONAL PARK.
Despite its proximity to the city and its relative small size, it boasts a large and varied wildlife population. Zebra gathering and the migration of the wildebeest during the dry seasons, summer seasons. Importantly, it is one among the most successful rhinoceros sanctuaries in Kenya.
It offers the best introduction of the coastal tourist attractions in Kenya with its coral reefs and beautiful coastal beaches. It offers room for surfing, deep -sea fishing and other water sports. Malindi marine National Park is protected and has fine beaches and clear water with colorful fish. It is served with a domestic airport and a highway along Mombasa and Lamu.
This is the second largest mountain in Africa and the largest in Kenya. It has a beautiful site with its peaks crowned with snow and its slopes covered with forest. It has height of 5199 meter high. Additionally, its several lower peaks forms a destination for a fit trekker.
SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE.
It is one of the most peaceful parks in Kenya, located in the Northern part of Kenya. It is because of Uaso Nyiro River that is able to attract tourist. This river runs through grassland vegetation and the forest. All the three big cats are found in this place. Other wildlife that attract tourists at this place are the Nile crocodiles that are present in this river.
HELL’S GATE NATIONAL PARK.
This park is named after a narrow break in the cliffs, a tributary of a prehistoric lake that fed on the early humans in the Rifty valley. It is one of its kind where one is allowed to walk or cycle alone without a guide. The park itself is a home of various wildlife though there few in number.
TSAVO NATIONAL PARK.
Tsavo is the largest both in the world and in Kenya. Because of its size it was divided into two, Tsavo west and Tsavo east. The west one has a spectacular scenery that has a rolling volcanic landscape while the east one is more of open savannah. As such, this park offers a chance for people who needs solitude and privacy with aim of exploring wildness.
MASAI MARA NATIONAL PARK.
This is the most popular game park in Kenya and thus the most attractive tourist site in Kenya. It attracts tourists with its sizes of population of game and the migration of the zebra and wildebeests. This great migration takes place from July to October.
AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK.
It is located the border of the Tanzania and the foot of the Africa’s largest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro. The park is well known for its large numbers of free ranging elephants. Additionally, the park offers a chance to meet with the Maasai people and the views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
