People go for interview to try their luck if they will be accepted at a certain position within an organization. With a good well written and packaged curriculum vitae one is confident to having the job. Before the interview one should ensure that he or she arrives for the interview at least 20-30 minutes before ensuring that he or she is neat and presentable. Most people are never sure of the questions to be asked during the interview.

Some of the common questions used in interviews include:

  • Tell me about yourself.

  • What is your greatest strengths?

  • What are your weakness?

  • How do your handle pressure?

  • Why do you want this job?

  • Why should we hire you?

  • What makes you the best fit for this position?

  • Where do you see yourself in the next five to ten years?

During the interview one should have self confidence in himself or herself and how he or she is answering the questions. The responses that one give determine and also tell a lot about the person.

It important to include in your curriculum vitae the co-curriculum activities that one participated in and also the work experiences that one had in his or her own past regardless of how short it was like three or four months.

People should also ensure that the code of dressing is appropriate. For men example consider;

Power suit colours like blue, grey or black. The belt should be in line with the colour of the shoes, the colour of the socks should be the same with either the shoes or the trouser. The tie should be of a reasonable size just above the waist and the collar of the shirt buttoned to the top.
