It’s what most women battle with, not easy to get rid off and your fashion sense has to change to accommodate it. I am talking about the bulging belly and love handles that we all work so hard to get rid of. This is the toughest part to tone and requires a lot of commitment to boot. All ladies would die for the rock hard abs that Kim Kardashian has always had.
First thing is first say goodbye to your 1000 calories per day packed in chocolate glazed donuts, fried chicken and fizzy drinks. A healthy diet will go a long way coupled with suitable exercise. Some simple exercises that you can do that will fit in your busy schedule include Pilates and sit ups. Get rid of your slimming pills and starvation regime and get active.
Sounds too simple but do them religiously and constantly and the results will be phenomenal. Start with simple stretching exercises to loosen up the tight muscles. I recommend starting with around 5-10 sit ups and Pilates stretches and increase as your stamina builds up.
After a week or two, increase the numbers of sit ups and also add some leg ups to tone the body further. For those not familiar with Pilates, it is a form of exercise similar to sit ups that are formulated to tighten the abdominal muscles and burn some fat. It is a combination of sit ups and leg ups. The first few days will lunge your body into some pain due to the muscle work out but don’t give up it’s only the beginning. Once the body has adjusted to the stretching, things get much easier.
Miraculous results will not appear but give yourself two to three months depending on the number of sets you are doing. Finally before the abs you are dying for emerge, nice flowing tops that can hide the muffin will have to do. Avoid tiny crop tops that will bare it all and the tight spandex tops that exaggerate your tummy.
