Then, the University of Nairobi is the place where you will never miss to achieve your ambition. The unique aspects of doing a business course you will at times behave as a manager.

The courses in the school of business are offered in the university of Nairobi main campus, Mombasa and Kisumu campuses. In the main campus, it is offered at both full time and part time basis while in Kisumu and Mombasa, these courses are offered on part time basis only.

The only undergraduate programme offered at the school of business in the University of Nairobi is Bachelor of Commerce (BCOM) and it contains eight areas of specialization. They include accounting, finance, insurance, marketing, human resource management, business information system, operation management and procurement and supply management.

The minimum requirement for pursuing Bachelor of Commerce is a minimum minigrade of C+ at KCSE with passes of C (plain) in both mathematics and English/Kiswahili. Those with certificates in business course can also apply. Holders of certificate such as CPA (certified public accountant) and CPS (certified public secretary) are also eligible for admission.

hose who have undergraduate degree honors and wish to advance their studies, there are various masters programmes offered here at the school of business in the University of Nairobi. They include;

  • Masters of Business Administration.
  • Master of Science in Finance.Master of Science in Marketing.
  • Master of Science in Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
  • Master of Science in Human Resource Management.

Master of business administration and Master of Science in finance have various course specializations. For instance master of business administration has specialization areas in accounting, finance, human resource management, management information system, operation management, strategic management, international business management, procurement and supply chain management, insurance and management while the Master of Science in finance has specialised areas in finance, accounting, finance and investments, finance and banking and finance and insurance.
