African Canadian Continuing Education Society post-secondary Scholarship is a one of the most important scholarships that Kenyan students benefits from. This is a program is funded by Canadians and aim to boost the level of education and thereby reducing poverty levels among people living in Western Kenya; including Kakamega, Bungoma and Busia Counties. The scholarship is only applicable to students who are to join or are currently in the either middle level colleges, tertiary colleges or universities in Kenya. The applicants must be bright and needy from western region of Kenya.
Application for ACCES Kenya scholarship is done annually starting from mid-March to May. Interested students are able to download application forms from ACCES Kenya website: www.acceskenya.org.ke or obtain it from the organization office located at Milimani Estate opposite the The Kakamega Statehouse. It is important to note that ACCES scholarship is a very competitive scholarship and requires one to provide all the required information for qualification. Apart from this, it requires high level of honesty during application.
ACCES Scholarship is a partial scholarship that only covers tuition fee. This tuition fee is released only once in a year, between July and September. Apart from scholarship, successful candidates gain skills and experience in various activities such as community outreaches which may be organized by the organization or ACCES beneficiaries in a particular college or universities.
