Kenyatta University through its various schools ensures that students obtain tailor-made education that is well suited to their chosen career path. One such school is the School of Business. The School of Business covers various subjects and students are given a variety of options to specialize in once they have gained the needed general knowledge.

Individuals undertaking Bachelor of Commerce under the School of Business will do so over a period of 4 academic years. During this period, individuals are expected to choose courses from the Accounting and Finance Department, Business Administration Department and Management Sciences Department. Individuals who wish to undertake other assigned or practical experience will do so as long as they are approved by the School Board. Individuals who have been accepted into the School are expected to undertake a combination of subjects approved by the School. Any individual who wants to change the given combinations should first seek permission from the director or Chairman of the relevant departments. This is usually done within the first month of the semester.

Admission Criteria for Bachelor of Commerce:

Individuals who want to undertake Bachelor of commerce should have obtained at least the minimum university entry requirement. Individuals should also meet departmental requirements before registering for any of the courses.
